Essential Oils
When I was first introduced to the benefits of essential oils back in 2012, I basically went to the information meeting, just to be polite to the person who invited me to go with her.
You see, I had been approached by so many different companies over the years, that I had developed a protective shield around my health practice, where I was happy with the products that I worked with, and really had no interest in changing that. But like I said, just to be polite, I went.
What I heard, started to make sense to me. I could see certain times where using oils instead of herbs, would be a better choice.
I knew that children had a challenge in swallowing capsules. I knew that sometimes adults, were in too weak of a condition, to be able to keep anything down. Then there was the challenge that if a person was in the hospital or a nursing home. I might receive resistance on giving the person herbs, but massaging their feet with essential oils was never an issue.

I saw that if processed properly, they could actually be more potent than herbs. For example, it takes 3,000 lemons to make one kilo of lemon essential oil, or twenty lemons to make just one drop of the oil. Now, that is what I call potency!
But, with all my business decisions, I always go to God to ask Him if this is something that He approves of.
His answer?
He led me to open up my bible at Exodus 30: 22. I laughed, because I saw that not only did God approve of using oils, He was the original formulator of mixing oils together. I also saw of where He told Moses to place it on Aaron's sons, which studies are now showing the benefits of placing them in those particular areas.
I was now interested in understanding everything I could about essential oils. I bought a thick book about the chemistry behind the different types of oils. One of the things that stuck in my head, was that if done properly, the oils would have no protein in them, thus people would not be prone to being allergic to them, as it is the protein that people react to.
Over the years, I have looked at a few different companies that produce essential oils. Some of them, I was not impressed with the way they dealt with things, and some I was put off by their seemingly lack of integrity. So, even though I was sold on the value of oils, I did not actively promote them as a solution. I also knew that some of the herbs that I worked with, were the best answer for some situations, like if a person had already done chemotherapy.
